An advice?


would it be better to install linux on a partitioned HD or install linux on its own HD...

its completely up to you what you wanna do.
Is the box going to be up the whole time or do you still want Windoze on the other partition.

I myself would dedicate it for linux

Depends on how its partitioned and if its already setup on how you want it. It really wouldn't matter cause linux comes with its own partitioning tools to install linux, to format.. etc.

also I changed your thread title to help others determine what your question is about.
