americas army for FC3

Hi guys

Does anyone know if there is a working version of Americas Army for Fedora Core 3? If there is one can it be installed on FC3 and where is the link to it. Greatly appreciate this.

P.S I downloaded Americas Army for linux but not sure if its compatible with FC3 I tried installing it but it kept spitting errors at me something to do with archived files.

Thanks Again.

There's no Americasarmy just for FC doesn't matter which one, the build is scripted for linux globally, did you check the md5 before you tried to install ? I think you should try http:/forum.americasarmy.com/ for any AmericasArmy problems that aren't distro's problems.

When you dl you should see the md5 in the readme file and after that I think it's "md5sum ****"

After downloading the md5, you need to check the hash of the file you downloaded, in this case the game binary you downloaded.
Code:
md5sum /path/to/file > someoutputfile
Compare the hash code you downloaded against the one you just generated to verify the file's integrity. If they do not match, you must download it again.
