ALSA went mono on me!
I just noticed today that alsa is taking the left channel and putting it into the right channel as well, i noticed this when i heard a guitar solo on xmms that sounded different than it normaly did. I dont really remember changing anything. i checked in alsamixer and everything looks good. When im in xmms and i move the balance all the way to the left and it sounds the same, but if i move it to the right, then both speakers go down. any ideas/suggestions?
