Alot Of Checksums
 
I've recently tried to download Enemey Territory and America's Army. It took about 20 downloads a piece before i stopped getting checksum errors.

should this bother me(it already has frusterated me), or are there just that many bad places online to download stuff?

Er, how is this a general Linux question? Aren't those Windows games?

If you're having download problems from many different sites, perhaps your internet service is not very reliable.

no those are both linux games. There are window's verisons of them, but i assure you, they work fine natively in linux.
