ALex Trebek enity network kind of thing?

II need to be able to switch network connection on the bootup with a script. I need to say, "Is this home ot office."

Home is a static lan and at the office it is all dhcp. I need to find out which files are associated with the dhcp function of redhat7.3.

Everyh which choice I choose i just change according...or maybe some dhcp timeout deal, that would go static if no one was throwing out ip's.

/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-etho0

BOOTPROTO= <protocol>

Though I don't know if you would modify this or maybe
./network-scripts/ifcfg-up

I think you can make 2 copies of ifcfg-eth0 and after asking the above question just copy the correct one to /etc/sysconfig/netwok-scripts.
