after installation display rsolution is distorted and no display
 

I installed OpenSUSE 10.1 64bit.
the installation compleated sucessfully and all the hard ware was detected correctly. nut when it loads only horizontal and vertical lines appear on the screen. as if the resolution is not matching... please sugest me what to do.
