how can a ssh/terminal script be made so when you run 'newuser' it will prompt you for a username, then a pass. then put the new user into the 'hosted' group and chmod their dirs to 775?
I find the Slackware adduser script a good starting point. You can hack at it to customize to your own needs, its long but its good:
