Adding username containing only Digits

Hi,

I want to create a username containing digits only eg "1234". If i directly use 'adduser' form the shell it says that this name is invalid. Is there some other method that i can use to add this user name?

You can try adding it to your /etc/passwd file manually. I'm not sure if it'll work though.
