Adding Packages to a OS in process of construction
Sorry for the long title...no other choice. I am building an OS built on Ubuntu 6.06 and need to add packages. This is what I have done: (please see if the packages are installed in the OS I am creating, not the one I am using)
Note:cd ~/live is the directory with my extraced iso.

kevan@kevanr:~/live$ sudo apt-get install crack

Hey Tinkster, I thought nobody would ever reply. My question is, is the program installed in the folder I am referring to (called live), or is it installing on my current OS? I am trying to add packages to the distribution I am making, and I have gotten this far but am puzzled. When I compile this into an iso, will the programs be there?
