Adding apps to CD


Hi all,
I have A DEMO-LINUX - The linux system that runs from CD - but now I want to upgrade the kernel add/remove some programs form the cd...
Could anyone guide me to this task ?

It's hard to do. Only if you can burn another cd with new kernel etc.

You can learn to make el-torito bootable cd's by reading the cd-recording HOWTO at the Linux Documentation Project

If you need a bootable CD distro that has the option for exansion, take a look at Super Rescue CD. I'm affraid I haven't got the URL for it at the moment (will take a peek at back issues of LXF to find out, though). If I remember, it's a CD bootable distro that uses some weird on-the-fly bzip2 compression to have all sorts of stuff on the disk, and there was (I believe) documentation on how to add/remove bits that you need. It was an RPM based distro.
