Add routing entry at system startup


I hv added the below routing entry to my system , but it will be erased after system reboot , how to set it as a permanent routing so that it still vaild even system reboot ? thx

put it in a file that is read everytime the system boots.

In Red Hat, that would be
/etc/rc.d/rc.local

In SuSE
/etc/rc.d/boot.local

Just look in the rc.d dir you will probably find an equiv for most every system

Or edit the /etc/init.d/network script and set it there.

Just remember which file you set it in so you can change it if you need to. (Log books are a great thing to have)

do u mean just add the entry to the file
/etc/init.d/network" ? or add the batch ( all the route entry inside ) ? thx
