Acronis OS Selector

Hi all,

I installed Windows XP Pro sp2 first, then acronis Os Selector 8. It worked fine, so I then installed Slackware 10. But Acronis Os Selector is saying my Linux partition is "Locked". I can't boot from it :(

I have to boot from floppy, any idea?

You should consult the Acronis documentation to find out what they mean by "Locked": this is not a common term in bootloaders.

You might consider switching to a bootloader such as grub, which is likely to work more seamlessly with linux (as well as still working with windows, of course)

Yea I tried that.. upon choosing to boot windows it was saying it couldn't find some system file (forgot the exact name) located in \Windows\System32\whatever... So then I pretty much got really frustrated :P
