maybe someone could help me?
this is my problem
i want to install linux on my laptop but whenever i run linux after a given time the keyboard just stops reacting.
i tried:

hitting sysrq at hang time to re initialize the keyboard
smash my keyboard out of anger (gently ofcourse)

suse
gentoo (couldnt finish installation)

i also tried linux from scratch but their distributed cd for installation had the same problem.
