Accidentally deleted /usr/bin/net
Yeah... I just made a big mistake I would never expect of myself. While deleting a file that started with net, my hands worked faster than my brain and deleted /usr/bin/net instead of /usr/bin/netrestart.
I want to know if it is absolutely necessary for the functioning of my computer, and if I can just replace it with anyone's /usr/bin/net If the latter case is true, then I would like to know if anyone can upload the file or something of the sort. Otherwise, let me know what to do to replace it... Thanks a lot! |
/usr/bin/net
i think is a tool that comes with samba so unless you need it you don't need it it's not a part of your core system otherwise just reinstall samba aught to recreate it |
Thanks a lot!
