Accessing iTunes library on NTFS partition

I have my iTunes library stored on my NTFS partition. Is there a way for my to have RhythmBox or some other music player/library program list and playback the songs I have stored on that partition? I would rather not have two copies of the entire library, but rather leave it where it is so that I can play it from either Linux or Windows. It would also be nice if there was some way I could use iTunes' XML file so that I could preserve my song information.

I am using Opensuse 10.0 and have the NTFS partition already mounted.

Thanks for your help.
