Ask your school admin to open up port 80 to browse the web, if he says no.. well, that's too bad really and nothing that nobody here can really help with.

Regards.

Zero, I believe that would be classified as "cracking" here.

And not many people here are very friendly towards circumventing systems security.
I'm not either, but for information's sake:

I will tell you that what you'll want to be looking at is IP tunnelling. But I won't tell you how, or where to look.

They obviously have it disabled for a reason, and you'll get in trouble if it's a state school for "misuse" of the equipment. Keep this in mind when you try to get around the network administrator's limitations.

And another thing -- learn to type and spell, while you're at school trying to crack the security for your own personal uses... otherwise people really will start to think you're "zero_kewl".

i remember, i was banned from using school computers in years 9 and 10(1996 to 1998), because i repeatedly circumvented the sysadmins security. i never wanted to do anything harmful, i just wanted to prove i could do it. my god, thats almost 8 years ago, i feel old now.

i think i have to agree with tricky though, i cant see any good coming from me or anyone else helping you. im surprised he didnt close the thread.

Amen, Kev.

Seems that adminstrators don't look too kindly on that kind of activity.. That's so easily logged and tracked down, too :)

Get a cell phone with internet access, the schools IT Admin has no control over that. But then you may get in trouble from somebody else for using a cell in class :)
