about Winlinux please help
 

Hi ,please I need Help ,I from Peru ,My problem with SO WinLinux 2001 is :
Only detected 13MB of RAM ,and I have 256MB ,then the SO Winlinux is very very very very slow,
I use Winlinux 2001 Configuration Utility and in specify additional boot parameters I write mem=256m but the problem continued
please i need help

in your lilo.conf file.. if you have just mem=256m it won't detect it.. try this... append="mem=256M" and that should tell your system to use all 256 megs.. and don't forget to run lilo after making the changes.. /sbin/lilo

Yes , I try in winlinux configu.... and problem continued ,,it can be becose is free version of winlinux 2001.. only detected 16MB of RAm

do you mean a free, like from a magazine or something.. ?? if so, i never trust those as they seem to be poor in quality and everyone i know of has problems with distros coming out of magazines..
