able to set Lan, but unable to view web sites

Hi,

I just setup a linux box with pppoe which was set in eth0. I set eth1 as 192.168.0.1/24.

I set another 2 win2k prof. workstations with the IP 192.168.0.10/24 and 192.168.0.20/24. They can ping each other.

In the browsers of both 2 workstations, I set the proxy to be proxy.isp.com.

But, I cannot view web site or ping to the Internet.

How can I make the sharing?

Also, how can I share the files among the linux box and win2k machines?

Thanks for any advice.

sounds to me you need to configure their DNS servers so they can distinguish names with ip's...

file to add dns servers is /etc/resolv.conf

But, I had input the DNS for eth1 of linux box which is the gateway of the other 2 Win2k machines.

I also set the DNS of both 2 Win2k machines and the gateway is the ip of eth1 of linux box.

What's wrong with my setting?

Thanks

gogo
