aarow keys and ssh without pseudo terminals

Hi,

because my sony box doesn't provide pseudo terminals ('Server refused to allocate pty') I have to use this command from my local linux host:
ssh root@sony.box "/bin/sh -i"

But when I use arrow keys I get only:
^[[A

I know - there are may thread about this. But how can I specify the correct settings this way?

cu

Try

Quote:
ssh root@sony.box "/bin/bash -i"
or switch to bash after you get the shell.

the junk characters are due to the sh shell.
