a slow website


this is the Financial Times website www.ft.com which is sluggish in linux but runs with no problem in windows (on both operating systems checked on Firefox 1.5 and Opera 8.51)

any ideas?

yeah... only last week update all packages upgradable using slackpkg... by the way is there any package or packages which would slow down web browsing?

updated the firmware of the modem and things seem to be fine now.
