A little login issue help

Hello!
what i want to do is the next thing: Log in with user1 to my fedora core 4 without promting me the user or pass, cause only me uses this computer.
what i already did was the next: creating at my /home/user1/ folder .rhosts file that has in it:
localhost.localdomain user1

i also edited hosts.equiv at /etc/ and inserted: localhost.localdomain

then i went to console and in /home/user1/ i wrote chmod 0644 .rhosts

and also added the rhs/rlogin to securetty at /etc/
and the OS still prompting me for the user and pass to login...
i need your help to solve this little issue.. ty for your attention!
