A Linux program similar to 'IP Monitor'?

I am on a DSL connection with a dynamic IP address. I've been using a program called "IP Monitor," which checks my IP address every few minutes and then uploads the current status via FTP to a website that I can check. It's helpful when I'm on the road and need to get the IP of my home machine. Is anyone aware of a Linux program that does the same thing?

Thanks for your time...

Dave
P.S. I tried to paste the link to the IP Monitor homepage in case it helped to clarify my needs, but the guidelines won't let me. Type "ip monitor" barefoot in google and the first link that comes up should be the homepage.

I guess I could, although I have a sneaky suspicion they'll say Linux is not supported in any way, shape or form.
