A few KDE Questions.
Hi there yall. I am so happy I installed and configured Red Hat Linux. However, I need some help changing things around in KDE. First of all, how can I change my time zone? I guess I picked the wrong one in the install... and second, why can't I drag anything from the start bar do the desktop as an icon? Thanx P.S. This is an older - I think the forst - KDE.

What is the version of Red Hat you are using? Also what version of KDE.
Fire up KDE Control Center as root. Go to "System Administration" -> "Date and Time". (note: you must have kdeadmin package installed for the "System Administration" section to appear). To create shortcuts on the desktop right click the desktop and choose "Create New" -> "File" -> "Link to Application" There you can change date and time and also the time zone. |
