I am a new user to Linux mint and fired up Rhythmbox and was having a look at what was there etc, when I saw in the Library pane my Seagate Network drive. I clicked on it and Rythmbox had already found music I had stored there when I was updating a windows pc several years ago. I had forgotten they were there. So not only do I have music straight away, I do not have to re-burn my CD collection. Wow.. Thanks team. The only question is how do I look for classical radio stations? Classical is not even a genre! Stations like Portland all classical and AdagioFM are two I would like to add.

The Rhythmbox software's radio tab, by default, includes less than 10 stations, and there isn't a "browse" or "directory" built in. You might try something like this project: https://github.com/fossfreedom/radio-browser

Thanks, it looks a bit daunting at first look! Is there a "how to" page on how a newbie should proceed? I guess what files do i read first to know what to do? This is something I think I will be doing in the future so need to start on the right foot. I assume install is to be run with sudo bash install, but do I download all the files and run it from the download directory?

Thanks if you have the time, if not no problem. There is absolutely no rush, I am moving slowly and trying to learn what phrases to use in the forum to find the relevant posts. Terminal commands can look a bit odd to someone coming from a DOS background.

Try streamtuner. The streamtuner package is available in most distro repos. Or take a look at the many options available for playing radio streams:
