75 processes sleeping? Is this normal?

75 processes sleeping? Are these "running" in the backround like windows does? How do I know which ones I need? Can I kill them?

Thanks in advance!!

That all depends on what your running and so on.. without a list, we don't know really as its not our system and we can't guess on which processes you have running.
