3.4 kernel - temp/load issues

Not a question, more a heads up. I'm running Arch, usually with the latest kernel builds (with ck patches, though that doesn't matter). After having cause to start monitoring various CPU usage factors (average load - being queueing), real load and temps, both average load and temps are increased significantly with the 3.4 kernel.

I've dropped back to 3.2 successfully (as in the problem has gone) and I'll test 3.3 tomorrow. I understand that this may have already been filed as a bug, but once I establish for certain, if necessary, I'll file the report myself.

For now, anyone noticing increased temps in particular and using a 3.4 kernel may wish to consider reverting to 3.3 or 3.2.

Original observations were that this was an issue that affected Intel CPU's, though I'm using AMD with the same symptoms.

If your temps are fine then don't panic. 3.4 is otherwise stable in my experience.

I have 3.4.4 on Intel and not this problem.
Did you check "top" to make sure something is not taking more resources than you would expect?
