a slightly off topic question
:Pengy: first off, Mod I'm sorry these are slightly off topic, but I think they are on topic enough to post here... Delete if you want to.
Can anyone recommend a book for a complete newbie? I run Red Hat 8.0, and like it, but I may eventually move on to something else once I get the basics down. My goal is to set up a web server, so I hope apache basics would also be covered. I was thinking O'Reilly, but I'm not sure if I should get their red hat book or the linux book or a book on apache. Please keep in mind I'm a complete newbie. I've got a $30 gift card from Barnes and Noble burning a hole in my pocket:D . Thanks in advance. |
