1) give an example please exaclty what your screen looks like when you see that 'c' (it helps for us to see where it's located).
2) you'll have to install that rpm first. I think redhat install that rpm in /usr/src somewhere (I don't know exactly where as I don't use Redhat but look around in /usr/src somewhere). All it did then is copy the source code of that package somewhere. You then will have to compile that package into a binary. Read the package's documentation (README and INSTALL files usually) on how to do that.
