1680x1200 resolution?

Hi all,
I can get 1600x1200 and under resolution going fine. The monitor I am using supports 1680x1200, but for some reason when I set it in xorg.conf, I can't change to it through any means (such as xrandr, or the xfce display gui).
Any ideas on what I could try or what could be wrong? Horizontal / vertical refresh or sync range maybe?

At such resolution those 80 pixels don't mean much
1600x1200 is pretty standard.

Anyway...try playing with HorizSync and VertRefresh.

Well, the reason I wanted the extra 80 pixels was because 1600x1200 has a blank space on either size, and so technically doesn't fit the monitor as well as it could. I am using 1280x1024 right now, which is getting a bit cramped. I try the various combinations of refresh / sync rates though and see what I come up with.

You might want to add a modeline entry for your resolution and refresh rate. If you can't find a verified working one, try the modeline generator.
