[need help] real wierd problem - im desperate :((

Ok, helo everyone.

I realy need someone to help me with this.
I have this wierd problem. In Debian and Slackware and probably in all distros wich i just didnt check....
I also only know for this problem to ocur in firefox, netscape and mozilla but im sure it's also somewhere else where i again just havent checked.

It's like this, in firefox for instance, when i hover over a link or a linked image or JUST an image it kindof moves! For few pixels so its very disturbing.
ALSO, when i hover my mouse over a tab in firefox the text on the tab moves :S.

I have a nVIDIA graphics card so i suspected rivafb and disabled it, no effect.
Ok, I said to myself, maybe its just KDE, and tried gnome, fluxbox, ... the same.

I realy need help with this! I dont wanna but i will have to go back to winblows if this doesnt get fixed.

My system:
Procesor P4 1,7 GHz
Motherboard Gigabyte something ... (changed recently from asrock ... no efect in my problem)
Ram 1x 266 MHz and 1x 400 MHz, both DDR
Graphic card nVIDIA GeForce 4 Ti4200 128mb (changed recently from geforce 2, no effect with my problem)
Power supply unit 260 W ... Sunny technologies

Curently on Debian.

PLZ HELP. :( i dont wana go abck to winblows but if this doesnt get fixed ill have to. :(

 what could it be?

turn the mouse sensitivity down. Also clean your mouse. Is it a laptop? I'd say try cleaning everything then if it don't work right turn down sensitivity.

Its not the mouse. Tryd everything and switched three mouses in some time. Now i have mx510.

Its not a laptop.

Hmm, anyone?

How about the power supply? No I'm just guessing because you only have a 260w with a p4. I'd say go with 400w or more. Couldn't hurt ya know. Like I said I don't know, never ran into this problem.
