World of Warcraft crashing in Wine and Cedega.. ;(
 

I'm playing WoW through Cedege and whenever i enter i dungeon or use the zeppelin the game crashes and i have to ctrl+alt+backspace today i tried to running it through wine and the same thing happens except this time i had to restart my computer ;( anyone knows how to fix that?

I'm running:
Ubuntu 7.10
ATI x1300 PRO AGB 256ram
AMD sempron 1.8ghz
2gb of ram DDR
Wine version 0.9.58
Cedega engine 6.0.5

I know this is an old thread, but I'm having a similar problem.
Did you install WoW through wine/cedega, or are you just executing the WoW.exe from a Windows installation?

If I run wow in wine I get a brutal 1 fps - compared to the 13 or 14 fps I get running it on windows (Dual Boot)
However, when I try to run it in cedega - which I heard is better at launching games - I either get an error message or a black screen with audio. Either way I have to control-alt-backspace.
