Wine, user.reg, StarCraft

Doh.

Wanted to install StarCraft on Linux.

The
> wine install.exe
gives an error message "No program start menu found".

googled and found this bug-info for Warcraft3 :
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2765

"Adding

[Software\\Microsoft\\Windows\\CurrentVersion\\Explorer\\Shell
Folders\\]"Programs"="c:\\windows\\Start Menu\\Programs"

to users.reg file in ~/.wine/ fixes the problem."

well i tried to add that to my user.reg (users.reg doesnt exist) and if i run install.exe it gives the same ERROR message and even the added "[SOFTWARE\\Microshit..." thingy DISSAPPEARS from the user.reg file!

now what ?

thx
