Wine

hi, maybe this is the wrong forum, but I have a couple of games for Windows (Hitman and Morrowwind), and I was wondering how I install these games and run them on linux using wine, assuming I do not have a windows partition.

okay, I can kind of get it, but do the programs acutally install onto your Linux System?

Yes, wine creates a simulated Windows file structure in your home directory, which you can change with winecfg. And if you have the "drives" set up correctly, you can really install the programs anywhere you want. Just run 'wine program.exe' from the directory it's in.
