I suppose that you are looking for WineX, because Wine can be found here
Whereas to download WineX, you need CVS (Concurrent Version System)... For more info, have a look at this post
You should re-read what Oliv' and LavaDevil94 has posted in reply to yours. They have told you exactly where to get wine and wineX. They have also said how to get the "free" version of WineX, you have to download the CVS version.
Oliv' also was kind enough to provide a link on downloading the "free" version of WineX through CVS. That link also has information on how to install the CVS version.
lastly, you are saying they are both the same. Wine and WineX are different. If you are talking about wineX, the version you pay for is different from the CVS in the installer and a couple other things mainly with the CVS you will not get Point2Play. Also the two links provided by LavaDevil94 do not lead to the same webpage.
You must not know what you are doing. All of us have tried to help you.. on the side do you not see where it says CVS..
Again, here is the link on how to download winex cvs for FREE and also how to install it and get a game running with it. http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/history/148962
Yes I repeated what they said only because you did not comprehend what was being said and the information that was made available to you.
if you cannot read and understand then that is not our problem.
what do i do with this 1. cvs -dserver:cvs@cvs.transgaming.org:/cvsroot login
2. When prompted for the password enter "cvs"
3. cvs -z3 -dserver:cvs@cvs.transgaming.org:/cvsroot co winex
and i read it but i dont know what to do with that
In fact the correct syntax is:
1- cvs -d:pserver:cvs@cvs.transgaming.org:/cvsroot login
2- the password
3- cvs -z3 -d:pserver:cvs@cvs.transgaming.org:/cvsroot co winex
The first command connects you to the server, then you enter the password... And the last command is to retrieve sources. In fact, you made a mistake because in the ref the smilies are enable, so :p will become a smilie...
