windows games


hi, i have a small problem!!

i have a few windows games tgat i know are available for linux such as simcity 3000, rail road tycoon2, quake3 but the problem is every where i look on the internet you have to buy it! is there anything like the doom3 port where you download 1 file and copy the rest from the windows CD as i dont want to buy the game again when i already have it for windows.

your best bet is to look towards cedega

For quake3 you just need the pak0, then apply the 1.32 linux patch.

Ravage makes a lot of good installers, usually they are pretty small too.
