after a lot of struggling and pain, i finally managed to get half-life to run through winex. it runs great, but it has 1 problem: wall textures are garbled. the models on players are normal looking, however. anybody have an idea of what would cause this?
well, after scouring the net, i found the fix. seems i needed to copy the gl includes that came with my nvidia drivers over into the X11R6 directory. then i rebuilt winex, and the game runs great now!
