if anyone knows how to take care of this please let me know

cs 1.6 starts up, looks good, sounds good but when i use the mouse to shoot.........its sorta sticky.

for example, i cannot shoot rapidly with a pistol and sometimes not at all, it is like the mouse button is being held down

another example, i click to fire an automatic and it sticks for a bit.......the gun will fire 3 or 4 more times.

pressing enter or any other key bound to "+attack" works fine as long as its not on the mouse

could it be the mouse settings i am using in kde? i have tried playing around with the double-click intervals in but didn't succeed

please help me out if you know a solution , i would appreciate it, thanks

Perhaps you could try launching/playing CS from another DE or WM (a nice light one, like IceWM or Fluxbox would be a good idea) to see if KDE truly is the problem.

If your using Cedega 4.0, then thats your problem. Get 4.0.1.
