Unreal Tournament GOTY plays well except...


Hi guys - UT works 90% after alot of work with old lib packages, aoss daemon, and changing the ini file for sound. Occationally the sound skrews up but is probably the aoss daemon not shutting down or starting up. But consistently on certain maps/different servers the Game exits with the following in the log:

App Error
Critical: unsupported rate 48000

Usually happens when I'm walking and gunning.

Hope someone is still interested in this Game and can help me...

Maybe re-encoding the audio files might make a difference. That's my best guess and a wild guess at that. See the link below and maybe you can determine if there's a chance it might apply.
