tuxracer works for you on linux?
your damn lucky!

I had redhat 9 and it came with it and didn't work.
I have suse9, it came with it doesn't work.

In the end I used wineX and it works great! (better FPS then in winblows! )

If you have winblows on the same box, install it on winblows and copy it to your linux partition and run it with wine or wineX...
