tremulous can't start

after i successfully installed Nvidia driver for Gforce 440 GO card , i reconfigured xorg.conf file as nvidia documentation mentioned and restarted the X server and i had nvidia logo starting up with KDE. so i can assume that the nvidia driver was installed no problem. then i installed a game called tremulous which i installed with no problem too. now i'm trying to lunch the game but it's coming back with the error below:

Code:
root@slack:~# tremulous

Hmm.. lets's see

Seems like it cannot find the file libGL.so.1.
it should be linked from this configuration /etc/ld.so.conf

Maybe try locating the libGL.so.1. on your system and make a symbolic link to the file from the directory of the game.

It wouldn't be bad to post your xorg, I've seen systems after the driver install, to still have the 'nv' driver loaded instead of 'nvidia'. Try doing the link first with

Code:
ln -s [TARGET DIRECTORY OR FILE] ./[SHORTCUT]
