terrible sound while playing game
 

hi,

I've downloaded some prog named Visual Boy Advance
I've downloaded aswell some roms but when I open those, I get a terrible noise. something like beep....<piece of the realmusic>.... beep....beep....<piece of the real music>,...

That one was for unix I've also downloaded a Visual boy advance for Windows (which I open with wine) but before it starts there comes an error message: cannot create direct sound

Does anyone knows how to solve one (or both... even better ;)) problem(s)
