Steam works on CrossoverOffice? need more info!

I was just browsing transgaming CS forum thing...and I saw this guy who said that the Emulator called CrossOver Office can get Steam working!? Whoa! It took my breath away. this is onething he said...

"...You can install and run Steam with Codeweavers' current release of Crossover Office (only in OpenGL). The performance with Half-Life is acceptable (though lower than with WineX) while in Counter-Strike it is problematic while playing online (feels quite laggy), but it runs, lets you connect, update and play games, and is quite stable." (this is by that guy who said it...)

...anways he then said that u have to have the font(tahoma) installed and IE which were no big conerns, so could someone send me a link to a site where it tells me everything that has to be done to do this? I just want to KNOW if it works first before I buy it...(the main site just said that Half-Life works not Steam) Thanx!

Look there. I have partially followed those directions, and gotten IE6 to work, but I lost patience part of the way through...
