From my own experience - Star Craft is allmost perfectly works under wine 0.9.6
As for the Brood War - I've not trued to launch it because could not find normal CD ^)

hi, I am having the same problem now.

To install starcraft is easy. Just mount, cd into dir, then:
wine INSTALL.EXE
and you will see the installation window pop up.

My problem is:
1. Starcraft doesnt recognize CD image and ask me to insert cd.
2. When I try to install Broodwar wine doesnt recognize my previous installation of Starcraft.
3. How to update using patches from Blizzard?

Thanks
