Resolution in UT2004 (OpenGL) doesn't go higher than 800x600...


Resolution in UT2004 (OpenGL) doesn't go higher than 800x600...
How do i fix this?
I doesn't give any other optin than 800x600

Not exactly sure what is going on here besides the res isn't showing up. Only thing I could suggest is trying some different drivers possibly.
If there are any errors or anything please post them. Also if you bring up the consle there might be a way to force a higher res, unfortunately I am unsure of the command to do that.

setres

during running the game do :

`/tab` to get the command line
and type : setres 1024x768x16 by example
it changes to 1024*768*16 bits
and so on

hope this helps.

This was solved by editing the ~/.ut2004/System/UT2004.ini file,
But thanks anyway,

can you tell me more about what has to be edit in this file?
i have the same problem and only resolved it by typing setres command...

Sure:
There is one label called:

[WinDrv.WindowsClient]
and I set:
FullscreenViewportX=1280
FullscreenViewportY=1024

then another label:
[SDLDrv.SDLClient]

and I set:
FullscreenViewportX=1280
FullscreenViewportY=1024

where X and Y are the X & Y of the resolution!
