In ut2003 when i have the resolution at 1200*1024 (which is what i have my desktop at) the refresh rate in game is at 75hz (liuke on the desktop) but when i change it down to 1024*768 the refresh ate goes down to 60hz, is there anyway to make it stay at 75hz?
Do you mean you are using 1280x1024 instead of 1200x1024? Anyways, You can lock your vertical refresh rate to stay at 75hz for 1024x768 or 1280x1024. It is kind of strange it can run at a higher refresh rate at 1280 and not 1024. Anways in your XF86Config or XF86Config-4 in /etc/X11/ Just scroll down or search for VertRefresh X-X (Example: VertRefresh 50-120). Change the VertRefresh to 75. That should work in most cases always did for me. Hope this helps.
