So install the Driver reboot and then just check my logs???

No running the FGLRX config???

Since you've already run fglrxconfig, the necessary entries are already present, and you do not need to run it again.

No problem. I'm glad that worked for you. I spent my first 6 months in linux trying to get drivers working and I know what a pain it can be. I'm still pretty new at all this stuff, but figure I should try to pass on the little bits that I have figured out.

Sure. Just write step by step guide. Your actions in proper order of how you succeded installing ATI 9600XT on SuSE. Such help would be invalueble for all Linuxquestions community.

Nah theres been no progress currently...

Been trying to get my Jedi Academy game to work but when i boot it up it just says Debugging and freezes the computer.

Think ill wait for SuSe 10 before i start installing games etc.

Suse has issued compatible wine tools to run all possible XPEE games on SuSE. Full CD of them. Same easy to use YaST istall. I, actually, have the CD.
