Yea, I'm also intrigued. Is it Jedi Academy or Howto you talk about?:p

crazykiller 10-02-2005 01:59 PM

Maybe hes on a different wave length to us ;)

mammlouk 10-03-2005 01:02 PM

Sorry, I was talking about the driver Howto. For Jedi Academy have you tried the liflg.org installer:

http://liflg.org/?catid=7&gameid=44

I would give it a shot first.

If it doesn't work, then it may be because WINE has made some large changes (got rid of config file) in the not so distant past. If that is the case, you may need to give cedega a shot or try an older version of wine. I think 10142004 is a popular one.

You might also try with the new 30 September release. It fixed a bunch of installer issues from the August release.

::Edit:: If you still can't get anything going, post back and I will see if I can get a copy of the game to work with. I got the demo running fine in the past... Also, I think we should move the jedi Academy portion of this thread to a new thread in the Linux Games section. Can you do that Slacker? Or do we need to just start it as a new thread because you can't split this one? ::/Edit::

crazykiller 10-03-2005 01:09 PM

Ok will do....

Ill try out the version that came out on the 30th...

Also ill take a look at the liflg.org
