Quick Wine question

Ok I downloaded winex from cvs and it installed and compiled. But when I go to start it I get this error:

Code:
$ ./wine
./wine: error while loading shared libraries: libntdll.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
I imagine I'm missing a certian package or something. Can anyone tell me what's wrong? Thanks!

Perhaps you installed an incompatlble version to your distribution. Remove it and try this procedure. I think it's the best way to install anything if you have Ubuntu.

Make sure to get these line uncommented in your /etc/apt/sources.list file.
Code:
deb http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu breezy-security universe
deb-src http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu breezy-security universe
Open terminal and type the following command
Code:
sudo apt-get install wine
Please let me know if it works for you.

Well the wine through synaptic works. But when i got rid of all the files associated with cvscedega, I still got that error. So I just went ahead and manually removed all the files manually then reinstalled wine through apt. Wine works now, but I guess I'll have to get cedega through transgaming.

Thanks though!

There will be overlap between wine, winex and cedega - since they are basically the same thing.

Yeah I guessed that, but when I tried to remove cedega I got that error. *shrug* No harm done I guess, I just better be sure next time wine isn't loaded when I try to compile cedega again.
