quake3 socks

Hey all,

I've been trying to play q3a with the outside world through my dante socks5 server. I can't seem to get quake working from command line properly. I've run the socks deamon in verbose mode, and nothing comes up when I try and run quake. This is the line i'm using to run the server:

quake3 +set net_socksEnabled 1 +set net_socksServer 10.3.7.2 +set net_socksPort 3002

Does anyone else have any experience with this ? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Kilka
