Quake + Quake II

Okay

(noob questions )
I Dont have the original Quake II cd however i have the quake4 DVD with quake2.
I picked up the q2 loki isntaller, it has options like demo isntall, retail install. The retail asks for the cd (and the dvd doesnt mount properly?)... but can i just install the demo and replace the pk files?

And does anyone know where i can pick up quake?
(preferably a version that works)
